We are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.   We have hundreds of paintings in various styles and mediums.  So, please come see us.  You can also sit in our porch swing or purple porch rockers to enjoy the beautiful mountain views. 

The Old Hampton Store & Village is located at the foot of Grandfather Mountain and just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Our 1920 general store and gristmill features its own 100% natural stoneground cornmeal, grits and buckwheat pancake mix. You'll also find homemade jams, jellies, preserves, apple butter, and dozens of pickled products, cheeses and country ham.

If you're in the mood for shopping, the country store carries pottery, baskets, enamel ware, handmade rugs, cast iron and a variety of unusual kitchen products.

At Larson’s Fine Furniture we take a very personal approach to the design and creation of handcrafted furniture. Each piece represents an attempt to blend the beauty of naturally finished hardwoods with traditional, eighteenth century designs or current, contemporary styles. Regardless of the style or period, all pieces are constructed utilizing traditional joinery, emphasizing mortise and tenon and dovetail techniques.

Established in 1993 in the Western North Carolina Mountain community of Banner Elk, The Art Cellar Gallery began as the lifelong vision of Pamela McKay. Having grown up in the area, she appreciates and understands the correlation between the beauty of North Carolina's natural environment to the artistic inspiration it gives area artists. Constantly envisioning a gallery of her own, Pamela sought to concentrate on showing the artwork of those who were indigenous to the immediate region. It was with this focus that the Art Cellar Gallery became a reality.
